Larry and Karen Doyle’s KatieRich Farms has named George Barnes president of the Central Kentucky farm. Mark Hubley, who experienced been with the farm considering that it started in 2007, stepped down as president and has transitioned to marketing consultant for the 330-acre Midway farm. Barnes joined the farm in 2018 as vice president after tenures at Blackburn Farm and the Larry Jones Racing Steady. He has an undergrad diploma in Animal Science from the College of Kentucky and an MBA from Halfway University.
In other administration changes, Danny Leitch has been named coach at both equally the farm and the Rice Street education division. He has been with KatieRich because 2012, accomplishing anything from foaling to sales prep to breaking yearlings. He experienced most lately been the farm’s assistant trainer.
